Oh, Aj, I too feel like summer started this week - even as I took the boys shopping for school clothes and to their back-to-school class playdates. But the hot weather finally got here, and I had my first whole week off in a year, and blessed are we, these two rare events coincided. I feel so good for having been out in the sunshine and the sand all afternoon two days in a row - and I even remembered the sunscreen and my hat, so we're not lobsters for once.

I'm trying to remember that this is part of my balance - this is not my phase of life for endless days hanging out with my kids, but I can enjoy the days off I have, and I need to get outside as often as I can, even when I'm working inside most of the daylight hours.

Best wishes with this and each transition.

I read your post for March 8 where you wished your Dad a Happy Birthday and I saw his picture. My husband recognized him as the Joe Gerick who was his high school class mate. My husband's name is Danny Bonner. Please email me with contact info for your Dad.
